Working Experience
My working experience covers a diverse range in the field of IT. I have been working in IT organizational design in IBM and Extreme Blue an top-notch innovation program. I have also been a system administration in NATO, and a software engineer in ParaBotS. Personally, I am interested in IT, Innovation and Management. My aim is to deepen my knowledge and practices while maintaining a view for the future.
Education
Currently, I am in graduating from the M.Sc. in "ICT in Business" in Leiden University. My thesis on IT Organizational Design was a ground setting and innovative project that involved IBM, Accenture and Deloitte in Belgium and the Netherlands. The M.Sc. program offered me 21 courses that cover advanced MBA and IT fields. From Marketing management and communications, IT and business strategy, finance, accounting, decision making, organizing, to system development, project management, software engineering and IT process innovation.
During my M.Sc. I also applied and was selected amongst 20 students in the Netherlands for the joint course from MIT and Delft University Starting New Ventures.
I hold a Bachelor as an "Informatics Engineer" from the Technological Institute (TEI) of Thessaloniki. My bachelor thesis titled "Finding Categorical Outliers in Bibliographical Databases" (graded 9/10) was part of a scientific research program that involved two universities, was proposed for publication in an ASIS&T conference in '07 and currently is being used as an exemplary thesis in the department. The B.Sc. program covered algorithms, programming languages and methodologies, software engineering, software quality, project management, information systems, computer and network systems, intelligent systems, information security, as well as a personal full scholarship for Cisco’s CCNA.
